Yun has over ten years' experience in private and public market investment in healthcare industry. Prior to joining Pivotal, Yun worked as a director at CBC Group, co-leading venture and growth-stage investment across multiple funds. Before CBC, Yun worked as a senior vice president at AIHC Capital, leading the firm's private equity investment and participating in public market research and trading. Prior to that, Yun worked as a senior associate in Lake Bleu Capital and Orient Securities. Yun started his career as an associate at IQVIA, advising global biopharmaceutical companies.

Yun holds a Master's Degree in Genomics and Systems Biology from New York University and a Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences from Fudan University.
