Yiming serves as Principal, Infrastructure at Pivotal, responsible for core data intelligence platforms and technologies. Prior to Pivotal, he was Vice President, Data Engineering at Technology Crossover Ventures, a $20+ billion AUM venture capital firm, where he led the implementation of the firm’s data intelligence platform, external and internal data pipelines, and production machine learning / MLOps systems. Before that, he co–founded three technology startups, two of which were funded by the premier Silicon Valley startup incubator YCombinator. He holds a MS from the School of Information at the University of California, Berkeley, and a BS Computer Science from Northwestern University.
